2011 Australian Motorkhana Champion Corinne East-Johnston

The Australian Motorkhana Championship (AMC) is held on one weekend each year. It has always been in the second half of the calendar year and rotates around the States of Australia, skipping only Tasmania and the Northern Territory. It is run under the rules of the National Motorkhana Code and Group 4H found in the CAMS Manual.

The AMC was first held in 1972 in Young, New South Wales and has been held every year since. It has been run on sealed surfaces - bitumen or concrete - for all except three years, as this gives fairer, more equal conditions for a one day competition.

The AMC was primarily a contest to find a national champion, but class and other awards have been added over the years since 1972. Details of class winners can be found in the AMC History mentioned above. The Australian Motorkhana Champions are listed below.
